Meet Chief Investment Officer Matt Zenz

Please join us in welcoming Matt Zenz to the Hill Investment Group team as our new Chief Investment Officer (CIO). Matt, based in New York City, has an MBA from Harvard Business School. He previously managed the US small- and mid-cap strategies for Dimensional Fund Advisors and worked as a product specialist at Stone Ridge Asset Management. We are excited for him to bring his institutional-level investing expertise to our clients. His role includes leading investment strategy, portfolio management, and trading at Hill Investment Group. Matt will chair the Investment Policy Committee, lead and conduct manager due diligence, and relentlessly improve the efficiency of the trading operations at the firm, all to benefit our clients. Zenz will also directly engage with our current and prospective clients through portfolio optimization, analysis, and face-to-face discussions.

“Hill is committed to an evidence-based, long-term investment approach that I completely agree with,” says Zenz. “Matt Hall has assembled a high quality, driven team across the organization, poised to continuously improve the client experience. That is the type of energetic culture I want to be a part of.”

Service King Earns MBA

Guess who just got smarter? Congratulations to our partner and client service king John Reagan! John completed his MBA from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. We are inspired by his commitment to our clients and the way he powered through his courses while being a dad to four young children and maintaining his famous positivity throughout. John says, “I am excited to bring a new level of thinking to our firm and the clients we serve.”

March Madness Redefined

March has been a great month for Abby Crimmins. She was recently promoted to Associate Advisor and, after passing with flying colors, is now Hill’s newest CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Days later, the celebrations continued when her longtime boyfriend, Joe Wiss, proposed to her! Their special moment was shared with close family and friends who traveled to St. Louis to celebrate with the newly engaged couple. Now that’s real March Madness!
